A grounds keeper found the urn outside Christ Episcopal Church on Santa Clara Avenue.
Police say the urn -- containing a 74-year-old man's remains -- was stolen last month while his wife was at the church preparing for his memorial service.
A second urn, which also contained the man's remains, was stolen at the same time from inside the church, but that urn was found four days later.
