According to the San Jose Mercury News, 27-year-old Leticia Serna was arrested after she was approached by sheriff's deputies while standing on an overpass on Highway 101 Friday evening.
Authorities believe she may be connected to the death of a toddler. The toddler was found unresponsive in a Sunnyvale apartment near Highway 101 Friday afternoon.
Shortly after officers made the discovery, they received an emergency call about a woman standing on an overpass near Highway 101. Officers managed to talk the woman down from the overpass and brought her to safety.
Authorities haven't released the potential relationship between the woman and the toddler.
