'Occupy The Farm' demonstration allowed to continue

ALBANY, Calif.

Tuesday night, the dean of natural resources paid a second visit to the Albany lot where protesters have set up tents and began cultivating vegetables. The group has planted over 15,000 seedlings on land used for agricultural research.

The protesters say the university has not given them an ultimatum to leave.

"It was purely a good will visit and at the end of the conversation they said, we will like to identify who is appropriate to come to the table and how we're going to have this discussion," Occupy The Farm protester Anya Kamenskaya said.

A university spokesperson says Cal hopes to reach a peaceful resolution to that protest.

The group opposes the university's plans to develop the land.
