Figures show women who cohabitate having more babies

Births to unmarried women who are living with a partner increased from 14 percent of all births in 2002 to 23 percent in 2006 to 2010. The data comes from the National Center for Health Statistics.

Experts say people in committed relationships who are living together are increasingly ambivalent about pregnancy. They aren't trying to have a baby, but also aren't doing much to prevent it.
