Researchers may have found a new life-saving benefit of taking aspirin.

A 10-year study published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology revealed that taking the medication on a regular basis may lower the risk of death for men fighting prostate cancer.

Researchers say aspirin appears to prevent the growth of tumor cells, but caution that more studies are needed before they can issue recommendations for prostate cancer patients.
