Northbound train 287 struck and killed a person at the Hayward Park Caltrain station today, Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn said.
That train is stopped about a half-mile from the station. Northbound train 289 will stop at the Hillsdale station and turn back to San Jose, while southbound train 288 will stop at the San Mateo station and turn back to San Francisco.
