A new survey shows the Tooth Fairy is leaving an average of $3.70 per tooth, up 23 percent from last year.
At that rate, a full set of baby teeth works out to about $74.
That's a serious sum for a young kid and a bit much for some parents.
"That's kind of extreme, I think a dollar should do it," one parent said.
According to the Visa survey, about 6 percent of kids get about $20 a tooth. Two percent get $50 or more.
