The Santa Clara County medical examiner's office has identified the boy as Connor Jung, of San Jose.
Emergency responders were dispatched at 1:52 p.m. Monday to the Discovery Years day care center at 1411 Piedmont Road, east of Interstate Highway 680, San Jose police spokeswoman Sgt. Heather Randol said.
The investigation into Connor's death, being conducted by the medical examiner's office, has so far found no evidence of foul play, Randol said.
