Woman who fainted during Pres. Obama speech feeling better

San Diego resident and UC Berkeley graduate Karmel Allison became a little wobbly after 25 minutes of standing.

In a telephone interview, Allison said dehydration, as well as being diabetic and pregnant, apparently took its toll.

"I'm 20 weeks pregnant at this point and I hadn't had that much to drink that morning because I was worried about possibly needing to go to the bathroom during that speech so I wanted to avoid that. As the sun hit me, I got a little bit light-headed. But everything is okay now and back to normal," Allison said.

Allison was led away and treated by the White House physician.

The president joked that this is what happens when he talks too long.

Allison was representing the American Diabetes Association at the event.
