There are 6,000 kids signed up for the toy distribution at Sacred Heart Community Service. The charity is hoping to give three toys to each of the kids and is about 3,000 toys short of that goal.
The charity is looking for donations of books and teen gifts. Sacred Heart is located on South First Street and West Alma Avenue.
This morning's event will begin at 8 a.m. and another toy distribution will take place on Monday.
