Wednesday morning, 844 people took the oath of allegiance at the Paramount Theater. Among them were at least four couples who were naturalized together.
Most of them have been married for years, and decided to take this next step in their lives at the same time.
"We got our green card together, the company sponsored our green card, and then we just applied to the citizenship together as well," Taranjit Singh and Jespreet Kaur said.
The couples say Valentine's Day will be extra special this year.
Immigrants from 94 countries were represented in Wednesday's citizenship ceremony.
