It's the largest parade of its kind outside of Asia and has been taking place in the city for more than 150 years.
The procession will include massive floats, lion dancers, marching bands, and contingents from local businesses and community groups to celebrate the Year of the Horse.
Rain or shine, it starts at 5:15 p.m. at Second and Market streets and concludes in Chinatown at the end of Kearny Street around 8:30 p.m.
