Throughout Fleet Week, visitors can go on board and check out carriers, destroyers and cruisers docked at the Embarcadero.
Along with exploring the massive ships, it's a glimpse into the day-to-day lives of the sailors serving in the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard.
The biggest event for the Navy is the Parade of Ships that began at 11 a.m. on Friday and last one hour.
The seven ships that were part of this year's parade are:
1. SFFD Fireboat Guardian
2. USS Cape St. George
3. USS Stockdale
4. USCGC Boutwell
5. USS Coronado
6. HMCS Calgary
7. ACRE MV John Dillard
