2 hospitalized after shooting during large party in Brisbane

BRISBANE, Calif. (KGO) -- Brisbane police are still searching for the gunman or gunmen who shot and wounded two people at a warehouse party.

Authorities say they were notified around midnight of a party involving several hundred people near Industrial Way and Brisbane Boulevard.

"Due to the large amount of people at the time, and the fact that there were gunshots and victims located, we had several units from other agencies respond to assist with the investigation," said Brisbane Police Cmdr. Robert Meisner.

After police arrived, officers heard several gunshots and found two victims. They were taken to a trauma unit in unknown condition. K9 units were called in for the suspect search, which so far has been unsuccessful.
