NOVATO, Calif. (KGO) -- The Marin County Humane Society says most of the cats and kittens that were abandoned at their facility in Novato have been adopted.

Surveillance video from earlier this month showed a couple dumping a box full of kittens. More than 100 felines have been left there in this manner in the last year and a half.

One of the cat's was named "Lil' Wayne" after our own ABC7 News reporter Wayne Freedman covered the story. The cat was quickly adopted soon thereafter.

For more information on adoptions, call The Marin Humane Society at (415) 883-4621.
