Security experts are warning people that their cellphone carrier may be watching their movements online.

Verizon and AT&T have been quietly tracking Internet use by 100 million customers using so-called super-cookies.

Privacy advocates at the Electronic Frontier Foundation raised concerns with the Federal Communication Commission.

AT&T and Verizon say the tracking is intended only to help advertisers tailor their sales pitches. They say they are trying to alert customers about how they can opt out of the tracking.
