North Las Vegas couple wanted for questioning could be in Oakland

LAS VEGAS (KGO) -- Police in Nevada believe a couple wanted for questioning might be in Oakland after one of their children was found dead.

Detectives believe the dead child's parents, Kellie Phillips and Jondrew Lachaux might be on the run with five other children.

The case started when North Las Vegas police checked on the couple's 17-year-old daughter and found the teen's baby neglected. The four-month-old baby is in critical condition after showing signs of being malnourished. The 17-year-old mother has been arrested on child abuse charges.

That case led police to another home where they found the couple's three-year-old daughter dead.
