Gilroy man arrested for allegedly threatening top South Bay health official

The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office says 55-year-old Alan Viarengo has multiple guns hidden at his Gilroy home. Since the coronavirus pandemic began, Viarengo has sent no fewer than 4 messages to Santa Clara Public Health Officer Sara Cody.
