MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (KGO) -- If robots one day take over, Google is hard at work making sure they're good at classic computer games.
The company's scientists say they've developed the first robot machine capable of teaching itself how to play games.
The system operates like the human brain. After 600 rounds of training over close to two weeks, the robot was able to learn the rules and win in 49 different games.
The machine failed at some games requiring planning and foresight, such as Miss Pacman.
