NEWARK, Calif. (KGO) -- Newark Memorial High School teacher Krista Hodges will not face any criminal charges for her recent twitter rants which included expressing a desire to "stab some kids."
Hodges caused on uproar when her tweets surfaced last month. She used expletives to describe students and even wrote that some of her kids "make my trigger finger feel itchy."
Police decided not to charge Hodges, saying her rants didn't rise to the level of criminal threats.
She apologized and received a written reprimand from the district, but wasn't fired. She's now on paid leave.
