Those who took part in the walk raised $1.5 million for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Each one carried different colored lanterns. "Gold is for all the people who have passed away and it's in memory of them. The red is for other participants and the white is for the survivors," Leukemia survivor Chris Neumann said.
ABC7 News is proud to partner with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to sponsor the "Light the Night Walk".
ABC7 News morning traffic anchor Alexis Smith emceed Saturday's event.
