Just days after former President Donald Trump was projected to have won the presidency, Trump's transition team operation has begun, with transition co-chairs confirming that he will be selecting personnel to serve under his leadership in the coming days.
President Joe Biden addressed the nation Thursday morning, urging unity and committing to a "peaceful transfer of power."
ABC News projects that Trump will win the presidential contest in Arkansas, gaining the state's six electoral votes. He won with 61% of the state's votes against Clinton in 2016 and 62% against Biden in 2020. His former press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, is the state's current governor.
