Oakland police searching for stolen U-Haul with donations for vets

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Oakland police are searching for a U-Haul that was stolen with some important items inside.



The truck, filled with donations for veterans, was stolen Saturday night.



Police say it was taken from Reinhardt Drive in Oakland, between Kaphan Avenue and Carson Street.



The truck is for the organization Ride to Recovery, a veterans' program that provides special cycling aimed at enhancing mental and physical health.



There were cases of Gatorade and water inside the truck.



Police ask that if you have any information about the U-Haul, call them.
