Fourth suspect in elderly San Jose woman's beating death speaks out
SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- The fourth suspect arrested for the deadly beating of a San Jose woman gave ABC7 News a jailhouse interview on Wednesday saying, he did not kill her.
Flo Douglas,88, was brutally punched and kicked inside her San Jose home last September, and later died from her injuries.
ABC7 News spoke with Johnny Brown, 19, inside the Santa Clara County main jail Wednesday morning, just hours before his first court appearance. Brown said he did not kill Miss Flo.

Brown was passionate when he said he was innocent while speaking to ABC7 News behind the plexi-glass at the Santa Clara County Jail. "I did not get questioned. I did not get interviewed or talked to at all, they just arrested me and charged me with these charges without any evidence. They have no evidence that I was there that night, that I did that, so I don't know why they're charging me with the murder of that lady," Brown said.
Brown was arrested Tuesday at a gas station for the murder of Douglas, who was affectionately known in her community as Miss Flo.
He also faces burglary, robbery and elder abuse charges.
Investigators said last year that Brown and Zachary Cuen, 19, broke into Miss Flo's San Jose's home and beat her during a robbery. She died from her injuries in October.
Cuen was arrested just days after the robbery. Two women named Perla Arreola and Jennifer Hernandez Jimenez were later arrested and accused of trying to cover up the crime.

Brown said he knew who Cuen was and used to date Arreola, but was home the night of the robbery. "Whoever did do it, they need to speak up, they need to speak up and speak up and say what they did because I was not there that night and this is very sad that I'm being arrested for something that I did not do," he said.
Brown's mother Sinica Santos was also arrested Tuesday for harboring a criminal, which is a felony. She's being held in jail on $500,000 bail.
