SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Several hundred workers in the Bay Area who've been waiting for their paychecks finally collected their overdue money Tuesday.

About 700 workers with GCA Services Group didn't get paid last Friday because bad weather in Tennessee impacted the FedEx hub.

About 70 of those workers are contracted to help clean up San Jose city facilities, including the police department, airport and city hall.

ABC7 News talked with a few who didn't want to reveal their identity out of concern for their jobs.

"I'm living paycheck by paycheck only so, if I don't get my check, you know, I'll be behind...on bills," one worker said.

The paychecks arrived at the company's Alviso office Monday night.

ABC7 News was told all workers should get their checks by the end of the day.
