The suspect took 3,200 prescription pills of Xanax and Hydrocodone.
They can be sold for about $15 each on the street.
Two other suspects in the store stood by to watch in case anyone was coming.
Police were able to arrest the two suspects while investigating a stolen car in Hayward, where they recovered some of the pills.
