California Lottery lists 'luckiest' Bay Area stores

SAN LORENZO, Calif. (KGO) -- The California Lottery has a list of the 'luckiest" stores in the Bay Area.

Each of the cities has at least one store that has sold two tickets of $1 million or more.

Kavanagh Liquors #1 in San Lorenzo is the area's luckiest store. Five winners have bought their ticket there.

The estimated prize for this weekend's Powerball drawing, already the largest jackpot of any lottery game in U.S. history, has skyrocketed to $800 million ahead of Saturday's drawing. And that number is expected to grow.
