North Oakland car chase ends in crash, at least one injured

NORTH OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Police say three teens driving a stolen car have sustained non life threatening injuries and have now been detained by Oakland police.

They say a green Honda was possibly used in an Oakland armed robbery and may be tied to other robberies in the East Bay.

A brief police pursuit down Adeline street at 2:45 p.m. ended in a crash at 54th Street. The suspect car crashed into bystander driving a black sedan which was totaled. The driver was not injured.

The accident occurred at 54th and Adeline streets in North Oakland. The chase lasted around 10 minutes and at least one person was injured.
