OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- The Nutcracker is a holiday staple, and this year the Oakland Ballet's performance takes on special meaning.

It's the first in-person performance of this Nutcracker production since the pandemic began.

Artistic director Graham Lustig spoke to ABC7 News Anchor Kristen Sze on Tuesday about what changes attendees will see and experience, how it feels to return to the beautiful Paramount Theatre after missing last year and why this production of the Nutcracker is special.
