Congresswoman Barbara Lee won't attend Trump inauguration

Congresswoman Barbara Lee says she will not be attending the inauguration of Donald Trump.

Lee represents California's 13th District, which consists of Northern Alameda County.

In a statement Lee said she will instead be organizing and preparing for resistance, adding that she believes the Trump administration will normalize the most extreme fringes of the Republican Party.

Lee joins a list of five other representatives who will not be attending Trumps inauguration on January 20, 2017.
