SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (KGO) -- The Oakland Raiders celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month on Monday by partnering with a local performance group during a visit to Roosevelt Elementary School in San Leandro.

The goal of the event was to teach local youth about the history of Ballet Folklorico and its significance to the heritage of Mexican and Latin American culture.
The group put on a traditional Ballet Folklorico performance and also hosted an interactive workshop where they taugth traditional dance moves to the students and Raiders players.
