Median Bay Area home price creeps up for 58th month in a row

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A new report says it was another typical January for the Bay Area housing market.

Data released by analytics company CoreLogic shows home sales nudged up 0.2 percent over January of 2016.

The median price paid for all homes in the region was $630,000 up 1.6 percent from the same month last year.

It's the 58th consecutive month the median price has gone up.
