On Monday, federal safety regulators said you should get your airbags replaced immediately if your car is has been recalled.
The warning was issued by NHTSA-- the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
In high humidity, the airbags' inflators can rupture in a crash, causing metal fragments to fly out.
Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, G.M., Ford, Chrysler, BMW, and Mitsubishi have all issued recalls for a total of 4.7 million vehicles.
If yours is one of them, take care of it right away.
