SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A small but vocal group of elder Chinese immigrants is among those putting pressure on San Francisco supervisors to ban any retail sale of adult cannabis, a law that becomes effective January 1.

Supervisor Jane Kim, whose district includes the Tenderloin and South of Market, sums up the debate this way, "How many dispensaries should we have in the City and should we include a buffer zone from our schools and childcare centers which I absolutely support."
