Security tight at Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco after New York bombing
SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The bombings in New York and New Jersey have triggered increased police presence in San Francisco, including in and around a major tech conference. Oracle OpenWorld kicks off open world today.
Bomb sniffing dogs swept through Oracle World this morning to prepare for the 60,000 people expected to attend this week. CHP officers and private security teams guarding the perimeter, but attendees of OracleWorld said security is not on their minds this week.

"I feel very safe here I come last year also it's pretty safe," said Veeramani Ranganathan, conference attendee.
San Francisco police say they have added uniformed officers all over the city in response to the explosions on the east coast. With visitors here from as far away as London and Sri Lanka, many told ABC7 News, they admire security here in the U.S. and feel very safe

"I am sure you all have taken necessary precautions and we have all the confidence in the country we have been looking at US as a role model for countries like us," said Nalin Perera, conference attendee.
"I don't think you can live your life like that and be worried, and coming from London we are fairly used to those kind of things. So you just have to get on with things really," said Alex Rammal, conference attendee.
