Senior prank involving school yearbook taken too far

MARYSVILLE, Calif. (KGO) -- A senior prank at a California high school is upsetting parents, teachers, and students. Some say it was just a practical joke, but others say it's a pricey prank that went too far.

Students at Marysville High School took over the yearbook and misspelled names, swapped photos, and included captions with sexual innuendos.

"It makes me mad, sad, and disappointed that someone would do that to our yearbook," said student Alex Hall.

Students counted over 175 pranks throughout the entire yearbook.

Many of the pages have been fixed by covering them with stickers, but some of the more serious pranks are harder to cover up.

Replacing all of the yearbooks would cost the district as much as $35,000.
