Oakland Skyline High School drama students to auction off Warriors items to help fund Scotland trip

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- From Skyline to Scotland-- a group of young actors will take off Saturday for the American High School Theater Festival. It's an expensive trip for students from Oakland's Skyline High School.

They've paid about $42,000 and need to raise another $24,000.

The school's drama teacher and principal entered into an agreement with the festival Monday that gives them one more month to get the money together interest-free.

They have several fundraising events planned, including an auction of Golden State Warriors-related items.
