Milpitas student's horseback prom invite

MILPITAS, Calif. (KGO) -- Milpitas High School senior Miguel Gonzalez got on horseback to ask Catalina Hernandez to the prom this week. The good news is she said yes!

But because horses are not allowed on the high school campus, Miguel was suspended for two days.

Miguel now realizes he should have asked permission first, but he really wanted to impress Catalina.

On Friday the school decided to expunge Miguel's suspension from his school record.

Miguel has been around horses all his life at his family's ranch training race horses.

The school prom is May 16 and Miguel thinks they will arrive by car, instead of horse.
