HEARTWARMING VIDEO: Military dad surprises kids in a 'Frozen' Disney on Ice homecoming

This guy should get the Dad of the Year award. Huddled behind the sleigh belonging to Kristoff in Disney on Ice's "Frozen," Jamie Curcio gives a sheepish grin and realizes how surreal the moment is, exclaiming,

"I came back from Afghanistan and I'm hanging on a sleigh!"

Moments later, his young kids--joined by the cast of the show--get a glimpse of their dad, who they had no idea was home.

Curcio had just returned from being stationed in Afghanistan with the U.S. Navy. It was a long eight months, explained his mom.

When he reached the airport, he was greeted by his wife, Joanne, but not his young kids, Brandon and Madddie. That's because his kids didn't know he was home yet.

He pulled off his big entrance without a hitch, and when Maddie caught sight of him she yelled in surprise, "Daddy!" and gave him a big hug.

The family then got the royal treatment by the cast of the show and even a round of applause from the audience.

The moment was put together by Pop Up Santa, a movement started by ABC Family to spread some Christmas cheer.
