Brock Turner to be released from jail after 6 month sentence for sexual assault

PALO ALTO, Calif. (KGO) -- Former Stanford swimmer is set to be released from jail at the end of this week, after serving six months for sexual assault.

Brock Turner will be released from the Santa Clara County jail Friday. It's unlikely Turner will register as a sex offender in California since Turner is likely to go home to Ohio right after he's released.



He can register there. Once in Ohio, Turner must apply for parole supervision.
