SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KGO) -- There were several big announcements from the NFL regarding media day for Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara.
First, the event will be held on Feb. 1 at the SAP Center in San Jose, which was expected.
Now the big news, it will no longer be called "media day," but "opening night," and will be moved to 5 p.m., so it can be broadcast nationwide in prime time, at least on the East Coast.
Not only that, but fans can pay $30 to sit in the stands and watch media members swarm the players and coaches.
