Mexican authorities found a cross-border tunnel in Tijuana possibly used for drug and weapons trafficking that likely connects to a well-known street in San Diego.
Dozens of suspected drug dealers were arrested in an overnight raid at Jefferson Square Park in San Francisco. Residents say the area had been a haven for drug dealers and users in the past few months because of efforts to clean up other parts of the city.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in southern California discovered that a supposed watermelon shipment wasn't what it seemed after they uncovered more than $5 million worth of methamphetamine concealed inside, the agency said.
Officers found more than 190 pounds of meth inside the truck along with $5,000 in cash.
