Elon Musk delays big Tesla announcement set for Monday

PALO ALTO, Calif. (KGO) -- Tesla is holding off on its big announcement expected to come Monday.

CEO Elon Musk tweeted:

The Palo Alto-based company did announce it will collaborate with Japanese electronics company Panasonic to work on solar energy in Buffalo, New York.

Panasonic is already working with Tesla to supply batteries for its Model 3 vehicle.
