SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KGO) -- TSA officials at SFO are highlighting some of the thousands of items left behind at the airport's security checkpoints.

Officials say each week, laptops, cell phones, iPads, jewelry and clothing go unclaimed. Some are ultimately reunited with the owner. Officials say if you have a lost or missing item at a TSA passenger screening or baggage checkpoint, you have to call the lost and found department at SFO before filing a claim.

Here is a link for claim forms as well as the phone numbers for lost and found departments at SFO, Mineta San Jose International and Oakland International airports.
