BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) -- Six UC Berkeley police officers are off the force after being accused of sleeping and hanging out at a library while on duty.
Our media partner, the Mercury News, reports that the officers were fired Tuesday after being on paid suspension since Oct. 31.
The paper reported in May that the officers would gather at a math library after radioing in that they were checking buildings elsewhere.
The officers are expected to take their cases to arbitration.
