SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Some Verizon customers across the Bay Area are having trouble making and receiving phone calls Wednesday night.
The company says it's experiencing something called a network issue and released a statement saying: "We are currently experiencing a network issue in parts of Northern California. The impact is limited to a minor portion of voice over LTE (VoLTE) to VoLTE calls. Our engineers and technicians are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it quickly."
The outage affects the Peninsula, San Francisco and areas north through Sonoma County.
The data network and text messaging are working.
