San Francisco, SFO, Napa, San Jose, San Rafael, Oakland Airport, Livermore, Moffett Field and Ukiah all broke heat records.
Not a fan of heat? Hang in there because Wednesday is the hottest day this week.
Temperatures will drop dramatically over the next 48 hours as cool winds off the ocean water move across the entire region. By Friday afternoon we are sitting comfortably in the 60s and 70s to finish off the week.
However, those winds will turn breezy Friday evening. Especially along the coast where we will see winds gusting over 30mph at times.
We will be watching for a few sprinkles Saturday evening into Sunday morning. It is nowhere near a washout so don't cancel any plans. But a few drops here or there cannot be ruled out.
