AccuWeather Forecast: Major warming trend starts tomorrow
ABC7 News weather anchor Spencer Christian has your AccuWeather forecast for Monday.

Takeaway of the Day

Today brought a mix of sunshine and high clouds, along with slightly higher temperatures. However, this afternoon's highs were still below average for early May. We have also had a continuation of the brisk onshore wind flow that has been with us for the last several days.

But despite the occasional gusts and cooler than average temperature range, this has been a very pleasant start to a week that promises to bring us a major warming trend.

The Look Ahead

A long-awaited warmup will begin tomorrow, and we will feel the warming kick into high gear on Wednesday and Thursday. By the end of this week, we can expect temperatures to be well above average, as highs are likely to reach 90 degrees in the warmest inland areas, and lower 80s along the bay shoreline.

This early taste of summerlike heat will continue through the weekend before giving way to more seasonal temperatures early next week.
