Two suspects sought in fatal SF shooting

Police are searching for two men thought to be responsible for an early morning shooting today in San Francisco that left a 33-year-old man dead.

The victim was identified today as San Francisco resident Germane Harris.

According to police, Harris was standing with two women on the sidewalk at 12th and Harrison streets at about 2:15 a.m. when he was shot by someone from inside a silver Volkswagen Jetta.

Two men believed to be responsible then drove off westbound on Harrison Street, police reported.

A woman was also reportedly in the suspect vehicle, believed to be a 2002 model Jetta, according to police.

Harris was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made and police have not released a possible motive for the shooting.
