A 25-year-old Napa man who won a bronze medal at this year's Olympics in Beijing is being honored today by Mayor Jill Techel at the Napa River Festival.

Donny Robinson won the medal in Bicycle Motocross in the first Olympics to feature the sport.

The Napa native, who graduated from Napa High School in 2001, has 19 years of BMX experience, said Barry Martin, the city's community outreach coordinator.

The special recognition of his accomplishment will take place on the stage in Veterans Memorial Park prior to a 7 p.m. performance of the Napa Valley Symphony, which caps off the Napa River Festival.
